Privacy Policy
Kargano ("we," "us") operates kargano.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. If you fill out a form on this site or book a call, we collect what you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number, and business name. We use it to respond to you and to prepare for the call you booked. That's what you gave it to us for, and that's what it's used for.
Conversations with Arina, our AI agent. Our website features Arina, an AI voice and chat agent. Arina is an AI, not a human. If you choose to talk or type to Arina, your conversation (including your voice audio, if you speak) is recorded, stored, and processed to provide the service, improve it, and comply with applicable law. These conversations are processed by our service provider ElevenLabs and its third-party large language model providers. You are shown a notice and asked for consent before any conversation with Arina begins. If you don't want your conversation processed this way, simply don't start one — everything on this site is available without talking to Arina.
Analytics and cookies. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site — things like which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from. These tools use cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and doesn't tell us who you are personally. You can control or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out tools.
Scheduling. If you book a call, scheduling is handled by Cal.com. The information you enter when booking (name, email, phone, business name, chosen time) is processed by Cal.com under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries; prepare for and conduct calls you book; operate, improve, and secure the website and the Arina agent; understand how the site is used; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this site work: ElevenLabs and its LLM providers (Arina conversations), Google (analytics), Cal.com (bookings), and our website hosting providers. Each processes data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and booking details: kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. Arina conversation recordings and transcripts: kept for 90 days, then deleted. Analytics data: retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings. We keep information longer only where the law requires it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below and we'll handle it. You can also disable cookies in your browser at any time. If you're in Canada and you're not satisfied with how we handle your request, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences and not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International visitors
Kargano works with businesses in multiple countries. Your information may be processed on servers located outside your own country, including by the service providers named above.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update it here with a new "last updated" date.
Business contact information and outbound calls
We contact businesses about our services. The business contact details we use — company name, business phone number, business address, and publicly listed business email — are collected from public sources such as business directories, map listings, and company websites. We contact business lines only, during business hours. Calls to businesses about business services are exempt from Canada's National Do Not Call List rules.
Calls we make and receive may be recorded and transcribed so we can keep accurate records and improve our service. If you'd prefer a call not be recorded, tell us and we'll stop the recording or delete it.
If you don't want to hear from us again, tell us on the call or email us at the address below. We add you to our internal do-not-contact list and stop. You can also ask us at any time to tell you what business contact information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
Calls handled on behalf of our clients
Kargano builds and operates AI voice agents that answer calls for our client businesses. When you call a business that uses Kargano, you may speak with an AI agent rather than a person.
In those calls, we act as a service provider to that business. The business decides what information is collected and why, and we process it on their instructions. Their own privacy policy governs how they use it.
What is processed: the audio of the call, a written transcript, and the details you give — typically your name, phone number, service address, and what you're calling about. Calls are recorded and transcribed so the business has an accurate record of what you asked for.
Who processes it: our voice platform providers Retell AI and Vapi, our telephony provider Twilio, our speech providers Deepgram and ElevenLabs, and the large language model providers those platforms use. These providers operate servers outside Canada, including in the United States, so call data may be processed there.
How long it's kept: call recordings and transcripts are retained for 90 days and then deleted, unless the client business has asked us to keep them longer or the law requires it.
We do not sell call data. We do not use it to advertise to you.
If you called a business that uses Kargano and want your recording or details deleted, email murad@kargano.com with the business name and roughly when you called, and we'll handle it or pass it to the business.
